Terms and Conditions for Mobile Phone Texting Service

Health Net uses the short code 98018 to send important messages about its members' health care.

You can opt in to receive Health Net text alerts, health and wellness education and other health-related information by texting HEALTHNET to 98018. A member can opt out of any specific health-related program or can opt out completely from receiving text messaging from Health Net. Members will receive recurring messages from 98018 based on their Medicaid program enrollment file and eligibility.

Also, when you opt in to the service, we will send you a message that confirms you opted in to 98018 to receive Health Net Alerts. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency will vary by use. Text "HELP" for help. Text "STOP" to cancel.

Do not text any private or confidential information to Health Net.

Automated Campaigns

Health Net (working with authorized affiliated entities and third-party partners) may contact you via automated telephone or text message to any telephone number provided by you. We use these calls to inform you about upcoming appointments, treatment options and other information (or education) related to your healthcare needs.

For more information text "HELP" to 98018. You may opt out of the text messaging service at any time by texting "STOP" to 98018. Or If you receive a text message for a specific healthcare or marketing campaign, you can simply reply "STOP" to be opted out of that specific campaign.

Health Net will not share, sell or use your mobile number for any purpose other than our Mobile Phone Texting Service – or to update our internal contact records. We will only use information you provide if necessary to comply with any state or federal law, regulation, governmental request, or investigation; to avoid liability, or to protect Health Net's rights or property. When you submit information to Health Net through registration forms – or otherwise provide information in connection with the Mobile Phone Texting Service – you agree and certify that all information provided is true, accurate and complete. You agree to not use a false or misleading name, or a name you are not authorized to use, if your name is requested. Access to the service may be denied and appropriate legal remedies sought if Health Net, in our sole discretion, determines that any information provided by you is false, incomplete or inaccurate.
