Learn Where to Get Care
Your Plan offers many ways to get the Same-Day Care you need
There are times when your primary care physician (PCP) isn’t available when you need care quickly. Knowing your best option when you need same-day health care services can save you time, travel, worry and the cost of unneeded services.
If you feel that you are having an emergency, call 911 right away or go to the nearest ER.
The guidelines below can help you make the right choice when you need same-day health care services.

1 Use the Select Telehealth Services Provider found on your ID card for telehealth visits ($0 copayment) to treat many non-emergency common illnesses. Deductible may apply for some plans.
2 Teladoc visits are valid within the 50 U.S. states, Washington DC and Puerto Rico.
3 Access to telehealth services does not guarantee a prescription.
4 Not all urgent care centers offer lab and/or diagnostic services.
5 In 2024, the median ER wait time in California for patients was more than 2-1/2 hours. Information varies by location.
