As National Health Care Reform evolves into a new health care environment, there is a need for the leaders of medical groups, IPAs, hospitals and health plans to develop and implement partnerships that assure efficiency, access and quality care. There is a need for a practical knowledge of methods, tools and best practices to build these partnerships. The new health care environment will affect many aspects of the health care delivery system, and there is a need to learn how to change or implement new programs such as new models of primary care, the use of social media, the delivery of palliative care, controlling practice variation, and addressing issues for seniors and persons with disabilities.
