With Health Net, you can offer a more complete benefits package from a single point of administration. Multi-product bundling program When you offer Dental, Vision or Life to the quote, you get added affordability. That’s because we’re giving up to 2% combined savings on the medical premium. This program is available to groups of at least 51 employees, up to a maximum of 499 enrolled members. The savings on medical premiums: Dental - 1.0% Vision - 0.5% Life - 0.5% Chiropractic & Acupuncture Health Net has partnered with American Specialty Health Plans of California, Inc. (ASHP) to offer quality, affordable chiropractic and acupuncture coverage. These benefits are included in the standard PPO plan benefits and the PPO tiers of our POS plans. Health Net Dental Health Net Advantage Dental HMO (DHMO) plans offer many comprehensive benefit designs. Health Net Dental PPO plans include five coinsurance options, with several variations of deductibles and calendar year maximums. Advantage DHMO and Dental PPO plans may be offered as a dual choice when purchased with a Health Net medical plan. Health Net Vision We offer three categories of PPO plans: Elite, Supreme, and Preferred. There are up to 12 plans offered within each category. Group Term Life Health Net offers a variety of Group Term Life Insurance products. Benefit options include: Flat Amount, Multiple of Salary, Occupation/Job Class and Dependent Life. Key features include: extension of benefits, waiver of premium, accelerated death benefit and conversion privilege. Supplemental Group Term Life Health Net Supplemental Group Term Life Insurance is available for groups that have purchased basic life coverage from Health Net Life Insurance Company. Employees can select from various amounts of supplemental coverage. (The employee normally pays the premium for supplemental life.) AD&D Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) benefits are usually included along with the group life policy. Health Net Life Insurance Company does not offer Accidental Death and Dismemberment benefits on a stand-alone basis. Health Net currently reinsures a portion of its life and disability insurance risk with Hartford Life and Accident Insurance Company, which has an A.M. Best financial rating of A+ (Superior).
