Health Net has responded to the challenges of today’s health care environment by developing affordable, tailored solutions built on local expertise and physician-plan partnerships. As such, we hit the right price for maximum value and accessibility for individuals, small groups, Fortune 500 companies, and governmental purchasers (e.g., CalPERs) alike. Our 2013 tailored network highlights included:
We now have 41% of our commercial membership in tailored networks, a 4% increase from April 2013 – and growing!

Affordable Care Act
Health Net was selected to participate in the health care exchanges in each of the states where we operate. We believe in the potential of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), especially now that it has rolled out nationally. New tailored network options were created for the California Marketplace (Covered California), offering affordability for individuals who have never had insurance before. Health Net is also one of the largest plans participating in the SHOP exchange in California.
